Our pilots are highly trained, licensed by the Federal Aviation Administration, and will do everything in their power to ensure a safe and productive flight that will result in the best possible final product for you.
Where we started
UAV Look was founded in September, 2014 by Ethan Cohen. Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs), more commonly known as "drones", were becoming more affordable, user friendly, and commercially available. Ethan recognized the potential for commercial applications the moment he got his hands on one. Soon after that UAV Look was off the ground, blazing a trail for not only this new business, but an entire new industry. Ethan is a licensed drone pilot himself, but is also a licensed pilot for manned aircraft. He flies planes out of Plum Island Airport as often as he is able. His passion for technology and aviation is what drives UAV Look to not only be on the cutting edge of drone technology, but also to prioritize safety and responsibility.
Turning your vision into reality
We begin each job by discussing the scope of the project with you. Depending on the project, we may need to apply for special authorizations from the FAA which will be submitted as soon as possible. It is part of the drone pilot's job to track the weather leading up to the scheduled flight/shoot date. The weather must be ideal both from a quality and safety perspective and the decision to fly or not fly is at the pilot's discretion. Once the flight is complete and the media has been collected, we will do any necessary editing. At this point we will use input provided by you to make sure the final product that you envisioned is fully realized. Finally, once everyone is happy with the results, we will provide you with the digital media/data files, as well as any technical assistance you may need.

We've worked with local businesses making promotional videos to be used on websites and social media to help show their customers where they're located and what they're about. We've worked with countless realtors to both help promote their listings and get more of them. We've worked with local governments like the City of Newburyport to monitor the effects of rising sea levels such as beach erosion. And this is just a small sampling of what we've done!
